Once again, heat is being seen in the politics of Sabah. The murmur regarding Musa Aman helming the Sabah Pakatan Harapan state coalition is once again intense.

PM Anwar Ibrahim needs a strong leader to stengthen Harapan in Sabah. At this moment he only has loyal Christina Liew. Since 2003, Anwar has been scouting for a Sabah leader to head his party, many have come and gone, including our Dr Jeffrey Kitingan who was once Vice-President.

So, Anwar Ibrahim considering having Musa Aman on board is no surprise, In fact it’s a brilliant move to consolidate PH position in Sabah.

Musa Aman the veteran Sabah Umno leader and Ex CM not only have the air of charisma around him, but also the aura of a strong leader and a track record of governance.

Musa’s story resonates deeply with a nation that values hard work and ambition. As the longest serving chief minister of Sabah from 2003 to 2018, Musa proved to be an efficient and dynamic leader, who focused on improving the infrastructure, economy, and governance of the state. He is the only one incumbent chief minister to have won three successive elections while in office in consecutive assembly elections in 2004, 2008, and 2013, with two thirds majority each time. He also was first to promote Sabah as an attractive destination for investment and tourism.

While Bung Moktar also currently cleared from his corruption charges will make a positive plan to strenghten Anwar bloc in Sabah.

Sabah state elections is not due until October 2025, but all signs are indicating that Sabah polls could be as early as July 2024.

Hey, hey! What have you got to say?
