I was 18 in 1997, I came home half completed my high school in England because my father was bankrupted. He was a contractor bankrupted because the licensee, Taib’s uncle defaulted on paying royalty to the Government. Pocketed all the money my father gave.

Together with 6 of my friends we went to Komat in Sama Jaya to look for jobs as they only required MCE; to help out the family.

The HR lady was an Iban, on our turn she refused to give us application forms and demanded our qualifications. Without even understanding us, we were turned away. On further enquiry from us, she said, the 250 posts were all filled. It was 10.25am and the application counter just opened at 9.30am. Asked the guard to show us out.

Komat repeated publication for the posts for another week. We went back again and again were rejected. This time she asked us to look for jobs in China.

My uncle promptly help the six of us to look for jobs from his contacts. Ironically, we all ended up in Shenzhen China, working in a micro circuitboard plant.

We were trained by some American to be testers as we know English. We did well, so well that within 4 years, we developed a special test using Argon emission from induced current. Testing the board even more thoroughly and 40+ times the efficiency we were doing.

After a few months of trial, the company decided to subcontract all their circuit board testing to us using the new testing system and they got the test done at a fraction of the cost doing it manually.

Within 3 years, we are testing all the circuit board of all the companies in Shenzhen then.

BELIEVE ME, WE ARE EACH NETTING 2 TO 3 MILLION USD A YEAR.

We spread to include contracts in a lot of companies of China, US, Germany and Finland.

We now employ 7600 people and 1600 from Sarawak. Bumiputra or non-bumiputra who made the grade we are after.

Why I am writing this?

Many properties belonging to Yayasan Sabah (YS) has changed hands ever since Musa Aman has been sitting in the top heading the helm.

The Sadong Jaya property changed hands. The former Sabah Bank block now Alliance Bank, this block stretches right up to Sabah Parks office in the Sinsuran area, in Kota Kinabalu, was sold for a song to Musa’s crony. The empty land behind Bank Negara also sold. The McDonald Drive-in SHELL station near the Innoprise Building next to Sabah State Assembly building facing Kingfisher park, also sold to Musa’s own saudara. The land opposite Chartered Bank , now Suria Sabah also sold. The Waterfront land, which was reclaimed, also belonging to Yayasan Sabah, has also been sold. These are just YS properties in Kota Kinabalu, there are a lot more in Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Tawau which has changed hands by just a stroke of Musa’s pen. So much more prime land and landed properties belonging to Yayasan Sabah and Innoprise has been sold to third parties linked to Musa Aman. In my coming article I would give details on how and who these properties were sold to, for a song, to third parties linked to Musa Aman.

Barisan National and  UMNO loyalists in Sabah cannot make moves or comment against Musa Aman as now by fault (not default) he is heading the helm. Due to mistake, passion or compassion, UMNO chose him in critical time 6 years ago. Just due to the existence of Musa Aman,  BN and UMNO’s integrity is on stake. This is a tough time for BN Sabah as unwillingly they have to defend the integrity/legacy of UMNO and consequently Musa Aman. If BN is defeated, it will mean UMNO will be defeated and may lose its existence in Sabah once and for all. UMNO KL knows this and so does Najib.

After Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat, because of the “rotation system” and perhaps also with a view to gain Muslim votes, UMNO, specifically Pak Lah, agreed to put Musa Aman on the hot seat to lead the  Sabah state government, but afterwards, they realized that they had to carry Musa Aman’s burden of alleged and much publicized corruption and scandals upon them and unwillingly they are doing it.

I know several sincere and honest UMNO Sabah leaders have left the party because they cannot continue living two lives and keep a blot on their conscience but a few close, new and old stickers are still on. They keep on coming over media and keep their all time vague, unjustified, lame stances just to defend Musa Aman but with less than required vigor because they know they are beating around the bushes.

In the broader sense, Sabah BN leaders are defending  Musa Aman because their future political career is related with UMNO Sabah.

Musa Aman becoming the head of UMNO Sabah was an accident and not by design. Or it may be termed as an accident which was caused by design.

KL need to have ‘’stooges’’ or puppets to achieve their bigger plans in Sabah. If a stooge is corrupt and already void of any moral ground by default and specially when he is on a good political hot seat by design, then the task becomes amply simple. Legalize his illicit practices, design an immunity for him to provide him protection from the natural justice, place him on the highest echelon making him untouchable and get your work done. In very tough times of political instability, UMNO as a so called designer of the Malaysian new order, needed a reliable stooge in an important geographically placed state, Sabah, and Musa Aman was the man. He had money, some say close to US$ 3 Billion, he also had close links with Pak Lah and was able to feed the UMNO warlords. But when Najib took over he wanted his own man Shafie Apdal and so Najib decides to get rid of Musa Aman sooner than later by throwing the book at Musa Aman. The casualty is Musa’s Chinese timber cronies.

Various CM’s from Sabah, has done the same thing. Initially, all CM’s including Pairin Kitingan, Tun Mustafa and even Harris Salleh was seemingly tough kids to become a stooge but then due to their fascination with power and money, they made few notable criminal mistakes. And to cloak the mistakes, to get a clean getaway, they all become balllickers or stooges of KL just like what Musa Aman is doing. But this time the balllicking is not working.

Last Wednesday, 5th of May, Musa Aman after chairing the State Working Committee on Security at Wisma Innoprise was talking to reporters and refuted the claim that Sabah’s Block L and Block M had been ceded to Brunei Darussalam. Musa also told the press that according to the Sabah Attorney General, (Datuk Rhoderic Fernandez) no Sabah territory has been ceded.

Its kind of strange here. As far as I know, on the 20th Jan 2009, Datuk Rhoderic Anthony Fernandez had resigned as Sabah’s top legal adviser. Datuk Fernandez had even told the press during the civil suit hearing for the Goddess of Sea, Mazu statue, in the High Court, Kota Kinabalu, that he had submitted his resignation to Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Ahmadshah Abdullah. Datuk Fernandez also told the media that his resignation was due to “personal and family reasons” and he gave the impression that it had nothing to do with Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat’s suit over the revocation of approval for the Mazu statue by Musa Aman.

So if Datuk Rhoderic Fernandez the Sabah Attorney General had resigned, how come Musa Aman is quoting the Sabah Attorney General Datuk Rodric Fernandez ?  Is this not strange? Musa is saying that he had spoken to Datuk Rhoderic Fernandez the Attorney-General of Sabah regarding the ceding of three million acres of Sabah’s maritime territory namely Blocks L and M by the Federal Government to Brunei Darusalam. When did Musa speak to Datuk AG? Is Datuk Rhoderic still the AG or is there a new AG Musa is referring to? Seems very mysterious. Or was Datuk Rhoderic’s resignation not accepted by the TYT and hence he is still our AG? If not why are we  not told? Why all these secrecy? AG’s position is very important position. The office of the State Attorney-General is a constitutional post and the appointment to the office of the State Attorney-General is made by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri. Musa knows this and I’m sure.

As I said in my earlier article that the ceding of Block L and Block M is unconstitutional because such an act of ceding territory of the State of Sabah in the federation of Malaysia required the consent of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly and the Conference of Rulers and this is stipulated in Article 2 of the Malaysian Constitution.

And according to Datuk Yong Teck Lee the former Chief Minister of Sabah, the only one time that such a consent under Article 2 was given was on March 8, 1984 when the Federal Territory of Labuan Enactment 1984 was passed in the State Legislative Assembly and this caused the downfall of the Berjaya State government headed by Datuk Harris Salleh, then.

I happen to believe that the whole ceding of our territory to Brunei will someday be cited in the history books as one of the worst, most corrupt sleazy, moments in the history of Sabah, and that UMNO and KL have both directly and indirectly encouraged circumstances and events that have put this mess where it is because our government is too stupid, weak and corrupt to do anything other than play along with the bad guys. RM320 BILLION is a lot of money and I think we have been mislead.

Yesterday morning at 10 am, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman’s nominees, Andrew Lim and Freddy Lim got whisked away by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) and were both brought to the MACC office in Putrajaya for interrogation.

Its close to 24 hours now and my sources in Putrajaya say that the pair are still in the custody of MACC. The pair are suspected of money laundering and are interrogated separately.

It seems that this two chaps are also linked to Michael Chia Thien Foh, another nominee of Datuk Musa Aman who was arrested at the Hong Kong International Airport for alleged money trafficking and laundering with a stash of Singapore currency worth RM16 million just before he boarded a flight bound for Kuala Lumpur. Micheal checked-in his baggage in the Hong Kong International Airport and then got caught by the Hong Kong Customs Officials with the RM16 million stashed in his baggage. When he got caught Micheal told the Honkies that the stash of RM16 million was meant for the Sabah Chief Minister.

In fact, there was a report on this lodged by PKR Youth Chief Shamsul Iskandar to the Hong Kong based Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). See here. In the report Shamsul provided ICAC with evidence that Michael Chia is in fact a nominee for Musa Aman, the Chief Minister of Sabah. He also named four (4) other persons believed to have connection with corrupt practices and shady transactions involving funds belonging to the State Government of Sabah and its subsidiaries, including Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd., Rakyat Berjaya Sdn. Bhd. and Yayasan Sabah Group. Shamsul also said in his report that public funds were ‘illegally obtained’ and were siphoned out from Malaysia and deposited into various accounts in Hong Kong at UBS AG, Bank of East Asia Limited, HSBC, Credit Suisse and Citibank.

The exposes threaten not only Musa’s, but Najib’s, credibility also. The central core of the exposes is Musa’s corruption of the state. It is a matter of time before Musa Aman is sent packing by Najib. Musa is becoming a liability to Najib. Besides, the infighting in UMNO Sabah is coming to the open now. Musa Aman struggles to hold it together amidst the many questionable business deals linked to his relatives and cronies as the numerous factions within plot to overthrow him. It’s all to do with money.

Musa was linked closely to the former prime minister, Pak Lah and his son-in-law. So it is not a surprise to learn that the Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak, would take this opportunity and would rather the chief minister be a man of his choice Shafie Apdal. And the going after Musa’s nominees and cronies by the MACC is sign that Najib is making his moves.

Anifah Aman the Minister of Foreign Affairs had a heat bypass surgery last month in Singapore. It seems he had three blocks in the coronary arteries, and the surgery when well and he is now recuperating. I wish Anifah a speedy recovery.

I hear also Prime Minister Najib Razak is getting ready to announce a cabinet reshuffle in a couple of weeks time as part of an ongoing mid-term review of the governance of the ruling Barisan National. Najib is aiming to boost the flagging popularity of the Barisan National since march 2008 by dropping some deadwood cabinet ministers who’s been around since Mahathir. Also the recent election victory in Hulu Selangor is indication that BN is bouncing back and Najib thinks a cabinet reshuffle will further strengthen his leadership.

My sources, who are politically close to the Prime Minister, said three ministers would be moved initially in the reshuffle but that the plan was that up to four ministers, eventually, would be transferred or dropped from the Cabinet.

Anifah Aman the Minister of Foreign Affairs is on the top of the list to be dropped. The talk is Anifah is not up to the job. In particular, his dealings with the press. The most recent example is the famous “shooting from the hips” by Anifah when he admitted in a joint press conference in Washington together with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about the credibility problem faced by our Prime Minister, Najib Razak in regards to the Mongolian Aminah@Altantuya Shaariibuu C4 murder case. Anifah brought out the issue of Altantuya although he was not asked about it by journalist covering the press conference. See here. It is a major gaffe that could be the result of fatigue, but it was an embarrassment to both Najib and Rosmah. This prompted Rosmah and some of the “4th Floor Boys” to suggest that Anifah be kept from the press to prevent him from saying too much and having to backtrack. That’s why after the US trip Anifah just disappeared from the radar screen. Even recent overseas trips, Najib was not accompanied by the Foreign Minister.

Frankly speaking to me a reshuffle or not is not going to make any difference. If you ask me there is nothing to shuffle. The only portfolios Najib Razak and his bunch of cabinet jokers have proven themselves fit for are posts like minister of arrogance, minister of incompetence, minister of non-performance, minister of corruption, minister of squander-mania, minister of murder, minister of ketuanan melayu, minister of pornography and similar areas where these attributes are their only strengths.

For me if Najib Razak is really serious about saving Malaysia the first thing he has to do is to fire all the jokers in cabinet and then fire himself. After that Najib could inform the Agong and call an election so that the people could choose some serious representatives who would be capable of serving their true interests and needs and try to salvage what is left of the broken country before it reaches failed state status.

You see the people are fed up with BN and its antics and are demanding change and they want it like of yesterday. They can’t wait for another two years and are running out of patience and tolerance. So why not just call for a snap General Elections?

An oil producing offshore area, Block M and Block L belonging to Sabah near Brunei in the South China Sea is no longer a part of Sabah. It now belongs to Brunei. This Block M and Block L is close to 6000 square kilometers in size, which is like 10 times the size of Singapore. Both the blocks can produce 1 billion barrels of oil  or US$100 billion in revenue and it belongs to Sabah.

Our Chief Minister from Sabah, Musa Aman together with Abdullah Ahmad Badawi negotiated with the Sultan of Brunei to get back Limbang for Sarawak, in exchange they agreed to surrender this Block M and Block L belonging to Sabah. Can you believe this? Yes, Musa Aman with Badawi,  on march 17th, 2009 in Brunei, had signed away US100 billion dollars of oil to the Sultan of Brunei.

And this was not brought up at all by Musa Aman to the Sabah State Legislative Assembly. More importantly by giving up the Blocks L and M, both Musa  Aman and Pak Lah were altering the boundaries to Sabah, and the Constitution under Clause 2 (b) provides that this will require the consent of the state and as well as the Conference of Rulers.

To give away or demarcate boundaries of Borneo States, Badawi must first consult Parliament, then under the Federation Agreement with Sabah, Badawi must ask Musa Aman to convene an emergency sitting of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly and then take a vote in the  State Assembly. Musa Aman did not just do that.  Musa Aman concealed this whole thing, Brunei, Block M and Block L from Sabahans. This Musa Aman, did not bring this matter to the State Assembly at all and why was he hiding this from Sabahans? Musa Aman owes Sabahans and explanation.

Besides, only if  Sabah had cleared this matter in the assembly, then only, can this be brought to the Agong for a royal consent to the demarcation of the new boundaries. The Conference of Rulers MUST also agree and that too has to come BEFORE the signing of the Agreement with Brunei. But they did not.

Then why was Pak Lah and Musa Aman in a hurry to sign the Agreement with the Sultan? Why the rush? Pak Lah says he has got the approval from his Cabinet and so everything is in order. But is this true? Was the  process done constitutionally, as per the Federation Agreement?

To me this is like TREASON! Musa Aman  should be charged for Treason for concealing, hiding or aiding the crime of TREASON. Musa Aman concealed this action from the Sabah State Assembly, and for any public servant To conceal, hide, or aid the crime of TREASON is to be guilty of the same offence.

The facts are :

1. Malaysia, Sabah no longer has any sovereignty over the 2 areas i.e Block L and Block M.
2. Malaysian oil companies can only participate in jointly developing the areas for 40 years (with Brunei’s permission).
3. Limbang remains a disputed area with Brunei.

I stand by my opinion that Musa Aman and  Abdullah  Badawi should be tried for Treachery and TREASON for losing territory belonging to Sabah, Malaysia.

Then if  the KL boys were to say that the Blocks L & M are not within the Sabah State waters and therefore under the purview of the Federal Government, then I will say, why this not brought to Parliament, and not brought to The Agong, and then to the Conference of Rulers, as we are after all altering the boundaries of the federation? Is it because it comes under the Federal Territory of LABUAN?

Explain lah!

Dato’ Sri Anifah bin Haji Aman, the Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs the brother of Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman, you are the right person, please explain? You and your brother claim fighting for Sabah’s rights, show us lah! Sorry Anifah I have to bring you into this picture although you are just recuperating from a massive attack following surgery to clear blocked arteries in your heart. I hear you are recovering well following coronary bypass surgery in Singapore. I wish you speedy recovery my friend!

Read here my earlier post on this.
